Principal's Welcome

Dear MHS Families,

I am incredibly honored and excited to introduce myself as your new principal here at Mosinee High School. As a member of this community for many years, having taught here for nine years and served as associate principal for another, I am deeply committed to our school's success and the well-being of every student.

For those of you who may not know me yet, my journey in education has been a fulfilling one. Prior to re-joining MHS as the associate principal last year, I had the privilege of serving as the middle/high school principal in the Edgar School District for four years. These experiences have shaped my perspective and reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education.

As we embark on this new school year together, my foremost goal is to continue fostering a nurturing environment where every student feels valued, supported, and motivated to excel. I believe in the importance of collaboration between educators, families, and the community at large. Together, we can create a learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student and prepares them to surpass their potential and achieve their dreams.

This year, we will build upon the foundation that has been laid by the strong staff that make up Mosinee High School. I am committed to maintaining high academic standards while also helping each student grow into a successful member of our community. I am excited to work alongside our dedicated faculty and staff, whose passion and expertise are truly commendable.

I invite you to join me in embracing this school year with enthusiasm and positivity. Your involvement and support are crucial to our collective success. Whether you are a returning family or new to our community, I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make MHS the best it can be.

Dear Mosinee High School Community,

It is a Great Day to Be Great at Mosinee High School and I am excited to rejoin this vibrant community as your new assistant principal! Being previously committed here for three years as a physical educator, summer school principal, and coach, my family is rooted in Mosinee and I am deeply dedicated to the success and well-being of our students.

During my time away, I had the privilege of serving as the activities director at Wausau East, where I grew tremendously as a transformational leader. I am excited to bring my passion and dedication back to Mosinee, fostering an environment where every student can reach their fullest potential and thrive.

My philosophy in education revolves around being a patient and reliable leader who empowers confidence, competence and character that leads to a competitive advantage in life! Each day, I will approach my role with a clean slate bringing energy, humility, resilience, and humor to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for all stakeholders in the Mosinee community.

I am eager to collaborate with our dedicated faculty, staff, students, and families to build upon our strong foundation and continue achieving excellence together. Your support and involvement are crucial to our success, and I look forward to working closely with each of you.

As we embark on this new school year, let's embrace the opportunities ahead with enthusiasm and positivity. Together, we can make Mosinee High School an even more exceptional place for learning and growth.

Students are welcome from 11:30 am - 6:00 pm, and the event is open to parents and the public from 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for students to explore future careers and also find out about summer jobs and apprenticeship opportunities. The Mosinee High School Student Senate will be hosting the annual Evening of Elegance dinner Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at 4:00 pm.

Reception social will be hosted in the Creske Community Center lobby followed by musical entertainment by the MHS band and choir.
Dinner will then be at 5:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.

This event is FREE to any Mosinee community member who is 65 years of age and older.

The enrollment process for the 2025-26 school year will soon be open for students entering 4K. Children who turn four on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to register.

To learn more about the 4K program and complete the registration process, click here. The information provides a program overview and detailed step-by-step instructions for registration.

If interested in the 4K program, please follow these steps:

Register your child in Mosinee’s Skyward Family Access portal.
Complete open enrollment and transportation forms as needed.
Share your 4K site needs starting at noon on February 5, 2025.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has announced the dates for public school Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year. Children in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program. However, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the child’s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district. The regular open enrollment application period for the 2025-26 school year begins on February 3, 2025, and ends at 4:00pm on April 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
